We loved everything in this hotel. Even though the hotel is located next to a grandeur hotel, and we visited the next door hotel, I would definitely recommend this hotel. When entering the lobby, a very inviting lobby draws you in. The colours, the furniture, the welcoming personnel. Everything was outstanding. Personnel in the hotel deserves an extra mention. They are very welcoming, entertaining, never too formal or stiff, and nothing is too much. Big shout out to the team. Especially considering the hotel just opened its doors. The rooms are spacious, spotless clean, great beds (although some might find it too soft, but we like it), nice balcony (we were located in the main building), and a convenient, clean bathroom. The hotel has great heated swimming pools, a fun waterpark area for the kids, some games outside, a fun kids’ club with super friendly staff. Also the beach is a nice place to spend time. Everywhere enough chairs and beds near the swimming pool. We are very experienced travellers and stayed in the best hotels in the world (Burj Al Arab, Atlantis, Raffles, Mandarin Oriental, etc), but this hotel is in our favorites list.

The Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort has become our go-to for UAE based Staycations. It's our second time here, and we loved it even more vs. the first time. Firstly, the space is well thought out, so you do not feel the crowds and have a variety of pool options, with various temperatures and pool depths, to choose from. The beach is massive, and if it wasn't for the neighbouring construction across the water, it would melt into the infinity pool. The in room food options are great - the kids' food menu is amazing! From chicken noodle soup to soft chicken breast to sandwiches; I was relieved that it wasn't all fried fish and chicken fingers! There are nice activities like a chess board, ping pong tables, foozball and a water park. Expensive ice cream, but it was delicious, so a welcomed indulgence every day. The room options are also great - we personally love the Luxury Room with Garden View. The staff are friendly and kind; shout out to Ivy and Swami, but also all the staff. If I was to give any feedback, it would be to diversify the food options at the food venues. Otherwise, this is our go to place and will come again and again!

The amenities were top-notch, the beach access was fantastic, and the friendly staff went above and beyond to make our anniversary special. We were surprised with a free cake and a warm anniversary greeting, and to top it off, we were given a late checkout, which was a wonderful gesture. A special shoutout to Thin, Kasun, Mazan, and the amazing reception team who made our stay unforgettable. Your kindness and hospitality were truly heartwarming. If I could rate this hotel, it would be an 11/10! I highly recommend Sofitel Al Hamra to anyone looking for a luxurious, pet-friendly getaway. What a wonderful 4 days we've spent there. The facilities,amenities and furniture are brand new top notch. The stuff are so kind and so so so eager to help. I wish I could mention every single one of them. A special mention goes to Saad at the reception, Mustapha at Reunion restaurant who embarassed us with his kindness, and Festus the buggy car driver.We celebrated our son's 1st birthday, they offered us a birthday cake wich was very kind of them. I've been told the hotel has the biggest swimming pool in the U.A.E and I believe it. The beach is superb. We had water, coffee,tea refilled and the towels changed everymorning when the room is cleaned, then, in the evening they pass again and ask if you need a refill and/or the towels changed. I can tell the hotel.is well managed I just hope they'll keep the great work they are doing.

Amazing facilities, very clean and feels new. Kids had a blast on the slides, the adult pool is the largest I have ever seen, feels like you’re staying at Jumeriah with the use of buggy’s and hospitable staff. Room size very big, you get a shower and a bath, good quality material used throughout and most importantly very comfortable bed. All the staff very attentive and accommodating. We visited the property for a staycation, we did not want to go back!! Had a great time. Thank you!
